Modeling Bases/Substrate Use
The steel platen in Stratasys F123 machines provides the level surface on which parts are built. A substrate is securely affixed to the platen using the substrate ejection handle. After placing a substrate on the platen lifting up on the handle will lock the substrate into its build position; pressing down on the handle will release the substrate from the platen for removal.
