SOLIDWORKS 2019 Measure Anywhere Feature

The Value of This Feature

Taking measurements is a common step when modeling. In the past, you were forced to leave a command to take a measurement and then go back to where you were. This feature has only been in the software for a few months and I can’t imagine going back to the old workflow.

If you haven’t had the chance to use it, be sure to check out the video below where we show you how the measure tool can be accessed at any time, providing a seamless uninterrupted workflow.
